DKFS are acknowledged experts in the delivery of Functional Skills. Our staff are very experienced in their subjects, having been trained to the highest levels, maintaining and updating their knowledge constantly. Our apprenticeship delivery model is based upon a projected 3 month timeline delivery for Functional Skills, with learners entered for tests as they become proficient. We establish strong partnerships with employers and learners to ensure the needs of both are met. Our uniquely developed resources determine the level of each learner, ensuring enrolment at the correct level for the learner. Through recognising areas of learner needs, resources are allocated individually instead of the one size fits all approach. Our courses offer each learner individualised support throughout their learner journey and this model has proven to be very successful, using a mixture of classroom based teaching and individual support sessions. We also employ distance learning models, which are fully supported by the most innovative resources available, all of which are unique to DKFS Training Limited.
DKFS Training Delivery Model
Functional Skills equip learners with real skills in maths, English and ICT that they need to do their jobs. GCSE qualifications are extremely useful awards, but just do not prepare people to function in the vocational environment. Functional Skills develop Problem Solving techniques, along with the maths, English and ICT skills that employers demand their employees possess in the workplace. DKFS Training Ltd have identified employer demands and learner needs and have been successfully satisfying them both very successfully over a number of years. Delivery model is based upon teaching and learning taking place on employer premises, at their request, as disruption to operations is kept to an absolute minimum. Our partners retain us through our successful delivery and timely completions.
